Sunday Morning Chinatown

Sunday early morning, the sun is not up yet, and while most people are still sound asleep since it's not a work day, a handful of people went out to experience what Chinatown looks like in the wee hours of a sunday morning!

The game plan was simple... Meet, Shoot, Eat!

The first interesting thing we saw was the sorting of newspapers near the local grocery.

The streets are still dark, with little activity.
It started to drizzle and we decided to have a pre-breakfast, along with us was Yama who had lots of stories about Chinatown.
We continued our walk this time the sun was a bit up already.

Shops are mostly closed on sunday, one place we were sure that was open though...

Sta. Cruz church was starting to get packed.
We continued our walk around the banks and then Yama had a nice idea...

He brought us to a building top where we had a good view of where we walked a few hours ago...

Group shot! After this we headed for breakfast :)

We went to a nearby favorite for a good serving of chinese breakfast,
what followed was a nice hour of eating, chatting and everyone enjoying the morning.

As I stared at my big bowl of congee I thought to myself how I enjoyed shooting today, and even more was how I enjoyed the company, "there will be more" I thought to myself, then I started on with my heavy hearty breakfast!

Thank you and enjoy viewing!
