Taiwan Taiwan! The Food!

In the list of the things I love, somewhere on top are traveling, eating and taking photographs, so when the group decided to have a trip to Taiwan I was excited! Our trip was guided by Vincent “Tasheng” Lao whom during the trip had us convinced that he was more Filipino than Taiwanese, since in most places he brought us to was also his first time to be there also.
One thing I love about Taiwan is their food, the variety in the night markets are a feast to the palate if you know which stalls to pick, from stinky tofu to fried chicken chops the choices seem limitless, and since you walk from one stall to the other carrying your food with you it made shooting and eating quite a challenge, so for the very first time I packed my camera and just let my taste buds loose!
With just a 5 minute walk from the hostel we were staying in is the Raohe St. Night Market, here we start our quest to satisfy the taste!

Chowing down on some stinky tofu, the stinkier the better.
I don't know, I think there's something in the beef stew, we kept laughing while we were eating it, on the other hand I can remember that what we were having tastes really really good!
This guy doesn't mind being in the steam, frankly I wouldn't mind either, the weather was cold and the broth smells heavenly.
Night markets differ from each other, there are those with areas that sell other things like fashion wear or novelty items, most of them eye candy.
A highlight during one of our food trips nights was finding this place, its a slap in the face novelty, the food and the price is just right and we had great fun having our dinner while sitting on one of the many crap thrones...
Oh, the food is served in their one of a kind, customized poop bowls too, subconsciously lowers your expectations of their food thus making it tastes better than what you expect.
It actually tastes good, really :)
How do you define a food trip? Its when you try something good or new, then go out and look for more to try, here the opportunities are abound because I think each night market tries to put in as much variety as possible.

Cown Dawgs!
After a lot of walking we decided on settling in one of the restaurants and order a meal instead, we were hungry and tired and the chef was more than delighted to dish out some teppy-skills!

Uhm... I do not know her... seriously, nice enough of her to pose though
We ended our trip happy, full, and the best of all were satisfied, soon we'll be craving for some warm food on a chilly night we'll remember our food trips in Taiwan.
