I have heard quite a lot about what they call the "interactive" stations of the cross that happens every Holy Week in Bonifacio High Street, these are not the normal stations of the cross, but each station is so creatively made so that the thought of each station and the message of the whole journey is effectively conveyed to the participants.
This year I was able to try out this experience (and take some pictures along the way) and I think the people who made it did a really good job, from the way it's presented and written to the overall fun factor that makes the message easier to absorb, this is something I'd recommend to friends if they decide to do it again next year.
For those who missed it, take a quick walk with me and I hope it excites you to try it out next year if they decide to do it again.
This is the first you'll see of The Walkway,
it will explain to you in general what it's all about and what to expect, a small map shows you the locations of each stations.
You can probably expect the stations to have basically the same message as it normally would,
although each station has an action point that you need to do,
make sure you follow the instructions.
although each station has an action point that you need to do,

Some points offer you a thought to reflect on,
but they made sure it's a profound one.
Quite an innovative experience awaits at the third station, where phones are displayed,
it's up to you if you want to pick it up.
I expected to see a whip displayed at this station, true enough it was there,
Maybe next time they'll let us try it.
This is by far one of the most talked about stations, and one that offers the
most unique experience of all, a must try, especially in a hot hot day!
Don't try to run away with the cross, they will crucify you if they catch you!
This station offers a nice action point, something that makes you reflect on
the many blessings you might have overlooked... very nice.
Here comes the crucifying part!
Just kidding of course.
I'm sure this station will be meaningful to a lot of people.
I think this is the reason why the saturday in holy week is usually called Black Saturday.
Enter and read the note inside, I like what follows next.
This was my favorite in essence, and there were so many people I am thankful for.
Brought to you by the people of Church Simplified.
You can experience the Walkway on their website also.
My mom tried out the cross station, it was a hot day but I'm glad she was game,
she lifted it up for 2 seconds.
